What the grounds contract covers

Lawn care for Cocoa properties

Pick the pieces you need. Most commercial sites want mowing and edging on a schedule, with treatments and cleanups added through the year.

  • Open mown common area turf in a residential community
    01

    Mowing and edging

Cut, edged and blown clean on a set schedule, so the frontage looks the same every week.

  • Healthy treated lawn showing even mowing stripes
    02

    Fertilization and treatments

Treatments on a schedule that follows Brevard's fertilizer rules, including the summer restrictions some cities set.

  • Irrigation head spraying across a green lawn
    03

    Irrigation checkups

Heads checked and adjusted so the lawn gets water and the parking lot does not.

  • Leaf and frond debris collected from a lawn for removal
    04

    Seasonal cleanups

Leaf drop, storm debris and overgrown beds cleared a few times a year, or after a storm.

  • Oak with the lower canopy raised clear of a lawn and driveway
    05

    Trees on the same contract

The oaks and palms on the property get trimmed by the same crew, so the grounds and the canopy are on one schedule.

  • Tractor clearing brush on an overgrown lot
    06

    Overgrown lots and back acreage

The back of the property that nobody mows gets brush hogged or cleared with the tractor.

How it goes

Setting up grounds work in Cocoa

  1. Walk the property

We walk the site with you or your manager and note what gets mowed, what gets edged and what needs attention.

  2. Agree the scope

Mowing frequency, treatments, cleanups and any tree work. The scope comes with the estimate.

  3. Start the schedule

Visits run on the agreed schedule. Commercial contracts can be billed monthly.

  4. Handle the extras

Storm cleanup, a tree over the sign, an overgrown back lot. One call to the same crew.

  5. Adjust by season

Growth slows in winter and takes off in summer. The schedule follows the grass.

When we get there

What you will see on a visit

  • Mowed and edged

Turf cut, and walks, curbs and beds edged.

  • Hardscape blown clean

Clippings blown off the walks and the parking lot.

  • Trees looked at too

A hanging limb or a palm dropping fronds gets flagged to you, because tree work is what we do most.

The equipment

Beyond the mower

  • TR Lawn and Tree tractor

    Tractor with rotary cutter

    On the job
Mows brush, palmetto and overgrowth to the ground across acreage, fence lines and easements.
    Why it matters
The tractor covers ground a mower never will and leaves a lot that can be mowed again next season.
  • TR Lawn and Tree giant mini loader

    Giant mini loader

    On the job
Carries wood and brush out through a side gate or across a lawn on tracks.
    Why it matters
It fits where a truck cannot and spreads its weight, which is what keeps turf and pavers whole.
  • TR Lawn and Tree grapple truck

    Grapple truck

    On the job
Loads brush, root balls and trunk sections without anyone lifting by hand.
    Why it matters
Hauling is part of the job, not an extra. A cleared lot is only cleared once the pile is gone.

Questions

Lawn care in Cocoa questions

Something not here? Call 321-504-1054 during office hours or book a free estimate.

Do you mow residential lawns in Cocoa?

Our ongoing lawn maintenance is mainly for commercial clients. For homeowners, call and ask. Larger properties and customers who already use us for tree work are the usual exceptions.

How much does commercial lawn care cost?

It depends on the size of the site, how often it is mowed and what else is in the scope, such as treatments, irrigation checks and cleanups. We price it after walking the property.

Can you bill us monthly?

Yes. Commercial contracts and seasonal plans can be billed monthly. We accept cash, check and major credit cards, and invoice commercial clients.

Do you follow Brevard's fertilizer rules?

Yes. Brevard County and several cities limit what can be applied and when, including summer restrictions. Treatments are scheduled around them.

Can you handle the trees on the property too?

Yes. Trimming, removals, palms and storm cleanup are done by the same crew, which is most of what we do.

What happens after a storm?

Storm debris cleanup can be added to the contract or called in as needed. During office hours, storm calls go ahead of routine work.
