TR Lawn & Tree

Tree removal, Titusville

Tree removal in Titusville, FL

North Brevard lots are bigger, the pines are taller, and the job is often a treeline rather than a tree. We price by what has to come out, bring a 62ft lift for the ones near a structure, and haul the wood on our own grapple truck.

Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Estimates are free and in writing before anything starts.

What are we looking at?

Six Titusville removals we get called for.

6 of them

  • Stand of tall thin slash pines on a large lot
    01

    A stand of pines

Slash pines grown tall and thin together. Take one and the rest lose the shelter they grew up in.

  • Oak canopy spreading over the metal roof of a barn
    02

    Over a metal roof

Barns, shops and pole buildings. Metal dents from a limb that a shingle roof would shrug off.

  • Treeline growing out over a pasture fence line
    03

    Treeline into the pasture

The edge creeping in year after year until the fence line is inside the woods.

  • Pine trunk with a long vertical lightning scar
    04

    Lightning struck

A long scar down the trunk. Sometimes it holds for years, sometimes it does not hold at all.

  • Tree growing over a grassed septic drain field
    05

    Over the drain field

Roots in a septic field are a repair bill. The tree usually goes before the field does.

  • Several trees marked with tape ahead of clearing work
    06

    A lot to clear

Several marked at once, ahead of a build, a fence or a pad. Priced as a lot, not per tree.

Grapple loading cut trunk lengths onto a truck bed

In north Brevard the question is usually how many, not how big.

One tree gets the lift. A treeline gets the tractor.

  • 01

Pines that grew together come down together.

A stand of slash pines shelters itself. Thin it hard and the ones left standing are suddenly exposed to wind they never had to carry, which is how a tidy-up turns into three windthrown trees the next season. We will tell you where that line is.

  • 02

Volume changes the method and the price.

One tree near a house is a lift-and-rigging job. Twenty on open ground is a different operation, priced as a lot, and usually much cheaper per tree than the same trees booked one at a time.

  • 03

Metal roofs and pole barns are unforgiving.

A limb that bounces off asphalt shingle dents a metal panel and finds a seam. Anything over a barn, a shop or a carport gets roped rather than dropped, same as anything over a house.

  • 04

Septic and wells sit exactly where trees do.

Older north Brevard properties have drain fields, well lines and old cast drains under grass that looks like nothing. Tell us where they are so the truck and the grinder stay off them.

  • 05

    Ground condition decides the day.

After a wet week the tractor and the grapple will rut a pasture and get stuck doing it. We would rather move the date than leave you with tracks to fill in.

What a removal day looks like.

  • Walk it and count.

How many, what they are standing over, and whether a truck and trailer reach them. On acreage that walk is most of the estimate.

  • Strip and section what is near a structure.

Anything over a roof, a barn or a fence is taken down in pieces from the lift.

  • Fell what has room.

Open ground with a clear drop zone gets felled conventionally. It is faster and it costs you less.

  • Load, grind, leave it clean.

Wood on the grapple truck, stumps ground if you want them gone, debris hauled or mulched. Nothing burned on site.

Our equipment

The three machines that keep this a one visit job instead of a rental.

Most crews rent when a job calls for more than a saw and quote accordingly. These three are ours and they come as standard.

  • TR 62ft Imer boom lift extended into a tree

    01

    62ft Imer boom lift

    On the job
Puts the cutter at the limb on trees too tall, too dead or too close to a structure to climb.
    Why it matters
The lift is what turns a tree nobody could reach into a scheduled job. Without one, the crown over your roof is climbed or it is not touched.
  • TR grapple truck loading limbs and debris

    02

    Grapple truck

    On the job
Lifts trunk sections and whole limbs off the lawn and into the bed. Hauls the same day.
    Why it matters
Trunk wood is measured in tons. The grapple moves it without a track across the yard and without a pile left at the curb.
  • TR tractor working an open lot

    03

    Tractor

    On the job
Works open ground, pasture and cleared lots where a truck and trailer will not go.
    Why it matters
On acreage the tractor is the difference between reaching the work and quoting around it.

The rest of the fleet comes to the same property under the same estimate. Every machine, with photos, is on the equipment page.

Tree removal questions from Titusville.

  • What it is standing over matters more than height. An open-ground pine with a clear drop zone is the cheap end. The same pine over a barn roof is not. Several trees in one visit always cost less each. The Brevard pricing guide walks through it and estimates are free and in writing.

  • Yes, and over about ten trees that is normally how we do it. We walk it, count, check access and quote the job rather than twenty line items.

  • It depends how tight the stand is. Pines that grew up together shelter each other, and thinning hard leaves the survivors carrying wind they are not built for. Sometimes the honest answer is take the ones you need gone and expect to lose one or two more.

  • Not always. Some carry a scar for years. What matters is how deep the strike went, whether the bark is separating, and whether the crown is thinning above it. It needs looking at rather than deciding from a photo.

  • It depends on the tree and where the property sits. Titusville and unincorporated Brevard have different rules, and county property maintenance rules also cover dead standing trees near improved property. Check before scheduling. We do not pull permits for owners.

  • Tell us where they are. Drain fields and well lines are exactly where roots go and exactly where a truck should not sit. We work off what you know and stay clear of anything uncertain.

  • If there are burrows on the property, the permit is the owner's to obtain through FWC. We do not pull those permits and we will not work ground that needs one until it is sorted.

  • Usually. The tractor goes where a truck will not and we walk the ground first to check it carries the machine. After heavy rain we may ask to push the date.

  • Out on the grapple truck or processed into mulch. Nothing is burned on site. If you want lengths left for firewood, say so on the estimate and we will stack them.

Get a written estimate on the tree, or the treeline.

We walk it, count it, and put the number in writing before anything is cut. No charge for the visit.
