Grounds maintenance
What a grounds schedule covers
Recurring lawn maintenance is mainly for commercial clients, HOAs and larger properties. Repeat residential customers can ask.

Commercial groundskeeping
One crew for the grounds and the trees standing in them. Visits run on a set route and schedule, and the scope is written down before the first cut.

Mowing and edging
Turf cut at the right height for the grass and the season, walks and curbs edged clean, and clippings kept out of the street and the storm drains.

Fertilization and treatments
Treatments follow Brevard County's fertilizer rules: no phosphorus without a documented deficiency, and at least half of the nitrogen slow release.

Sod install and repair
Bare patches left by a removal, a stump grind or an irrigation repair get new sod. Larger installs are quoted after a site visit.

Irrigation checkups
Heads, coverage and run times checked, so the turf gets water where it needs it and the walks and the building do not.

Seasonal cleanups
Leaves, fronds and storm debris cleared and hauled, beds cleaned up and the property made ready for the next season.
The equipment
The machines behind the grounds and the land

Tractor with rotary cutter
- On the job
- Mows brush, palmetto and overgrowth to the ground across acreage, fence lines and easements.
- Why it matters
- The tractor covers ground a mower never will and leaves a lot that can be mowed again next season.

Giant mini loader
- On the job
- Carries wood and brush out through a side gate or across a lawn on tracks.
- Why it matters
- It fits where a truck cannot and spreads its weight, which is what keeps turf and pavers whole.

Grapple truck
- On the job
- Loads brush, root balls and trunk sections without anyone lifting by hand.
- Why it matters
- Hauling is part of the job, not an extra. A cleared lot is only cleared once the pile is gone.

Do you mow residential lawns?
Recurring lawn maintenance is mainly for commercial clients, HOAs and larger properties. Repeat residential customers can ask, and one-time cleanups, sod repair and tree work are open to everyone.
What does commercial groundskeeping include?
Mowing, edging, blowing, bed upkeep, treatments, irrigation checks and seasonal cleanups, on a written schedule. Tree trimming and removals on the same property are quoted separately and handled by the same company.
How is a grounds contract priced?
After a property walk. Size, visit frequency, what is in scope and how much hand work the site needs set the number. You get the scope and the schedule in writing before anything is signed.
Do you follow Brevard's fertilizer rules?
Yes. No phosphorus without a documented deficiency, and at least half of the nitrogen slow release, per the county ordinance. Some cities add their own seasonal rules, and we follow those too.
Do you install sod?
Yes, for repairs after tree work, stump grinding and irrigation fixes, and for larger installs quoted after a site visit.
Can you handle the trees on the property too?
Yes. Trimming, removals and stump grinding are TR's main work, so the company that keeps the grounds can also deal with the oak over the parking lot.
Do you clear overgrown lots?
Yes. A lot that has gone to brush gets brush hogged with the tractor and rotary cutter. If the stumps and small trees need to go too, that is land clearing.
Do you haul the clippings and debris?
Yes. Clippings are kept off the streets and drains, and cleanup debris is hauled or mulched. Nothing is burned.
