Hurricane and storm cleanup
Hurricane tree cleanup in Brevard County
The storm is the easy part to predict. What comes after is a driveway you cannot use, an oak on the fence, fronds and limbs across every square foot of the lot, and a curb pile that will sit for weeks. We clear the way in first, then the property, and the wood leaves on our trucks.
Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. After a storm, calls are worked in the order they come in, and storm work goes ahead of everything routine.

What did it leave you with?
Six things we clear after a storm.
6 of them
01Blocked driveway or road
First job, every time. A lane gets cut and cleared so you can leave and help can get in.
02Trees down across the lot
Cut, sectioned and loaded by the grapple. Whole trees, not just the parts on the path.
03Hangers and split limbs
The ones still up are the ones that fall next week. We take them down while we are there.
04Palm fronds and litter everywhere
Fronds, limbs and leaf litter raked and loaded rather than dragged to the curb.
05A tree on the house or the cage
Weight taken off the structure before anything is cut. Tarp goes on before we leave.
06The pile that is still there
County pickup is slow after a big storm. We haul the pile so the lot is clear now.

We own the equipment most crews rent, and the companies that hire us for it include Boeing, Amazon and Lowe's.
Access first, hazards second, then everything else.
- 01
The day after, everyone needs the same thing.
A way out. So the first thing the crew does at every property is open the driveway and the road in, and only then start on the rest. On a commercial site that means the entrance and the drive lanes so the business can reopen.
- 02
What is still hanging comes down before what is on the ground.
A limb cracked and hung in the crown is the thing most likely to hurt someone in the week after a storm. We clear those while the lift is on site, before the cleanup on the ground pulls attention away from what is overhead.
- 03
We haul because the county cannot keep up.
After a named storm, curbside debris pickup in Brevard runs on the county's schedule, not yours, and piles sit for weeks. Everything we cut leaves on the grapple truck the same day, or gets mulched on site with the tractor.

Photographs before the first cut.
The tree on the roof is worth more to your claim than the clean roof afterwards. Shoot it, or tell us and we will. We give you what we photograph.
- 05
Storm calls are worked in order.
We do not publish a response time because it would be a guess. What we do is put storm work ahead of every routine job and tell you where you are in the line when you call. Accounts and commercial sites we already maintain are cleared first.
How a property gets cleared.
Open the way in.
Driveway, road, entrance. One clear lane before anything else.
Bring down what is hanging.
Split limbs, hung tops, leaning trees that will not stay up. From the lift where it is over a structure.
Clear the ground.
Fallen trees sectioned and loaded, fronds and litter raked and loaded, fence lines and cages unloaded.
Haul it, grind it, walk it.
Wood and brush off the property the same day or mulched on site. Stumps ground on request. A last walk for anything cracked that we can see and you cannot.
Our equipment
The three machines that clear a storm lot in one visit.
The volume after a hurricane is the problem. A crew with saws and a pickup makes a pile. These three take the pile away.
-

01
Grapple truck
- On the job
- Picks up whole limbs and trunk sections and loads them straight into the bed, then hauls.
- Why it matters
- The difference between a cleared lot and a curb pile is where the wood goes. This is where it goes.
-

02
Tractor
- On the job
- Mulches litter and small brush in place, moves debris on a large lot, and pulls what the grapple cannot reach.
- Why it matters
- On acreage or a big commercial site, mulching on site means less has to be hauled and the ground is usable the same day.
-

03
62ft Imer boom lift
- On the job
- For the hangers and split tops that are still up after the storm.
- Why it matters
- The most dangerous part of a storm lot is overhead. The lift puts the cut where the hazard is.
The loader and the stump grinders come to the same lot under the same estimate. Full fleet on the equipment page.

-
It depends on what it is lying on and how much has to be hauled. A tree on a lawn is cutting and loading. A tree on a roof is rigging and a lift. After a big storm, volume is the other factor: a whole lot of debris is priced by what it takes to haul it. Estimates are free and written.
-
Ours do not change by the calendar. What changes is the job: more trees, more on structures, more to haul. We quote the work in front of us and put it in writing before we start.
-
Usually only when the tree hit a covered structure, and the details vary by policy. We hand you the photos and the itemized invoice adjusters ask for.
-
Storm calls go ahead of routine work and are handled in the order they come in. We will tell you where you are in the line. We do not promise a response time because after a big storm nobody honestly can.
-
You can, and after a named storm that pile may sit for weeks. If you want the lot clear now, we haul it. If you want to wait for county pickup, we can cut and stack to the curb instead; say which when you call.
-
Say that first when you call. Opening a lane is the first thing we do at every property, and it is often a short job on its own.
-
Those are the ones that fall next week. Stay out from under them and tell us when you call; they come down while the lift is on site.
-
Call FPL first. They clear the line. We do the tree once it is safe. Do not go near it.
-
Yes, and that is the cheaper version of this page. The checklist post covers what to look for, and a trimming or removal visit in May is scheduled work at scheduled prices.
Get on the list.
Tell us what is blocked, what is on a structure and what is still hanging. We work storm calls in order and put the number in writing.
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Emergency and storm calls are prioritized ahead of routine work.
