Land clearing in Brevard County
Overgrown lots, fence lines and acreage cleared to walkable ground. We mulch the brush where it stands or haul it, take the trees and stumps, and leave a lot you can grade, fence or build on. No burning, ever.
Office hours Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Emergency and storm calls are prioritized ahead of routine work.

Six kinds of clearing
Clearing means different things on different lots
A palmetto-choked acre and a lot with six pines to drop are two different days. Tell us what is on the ground and what you want it to be.
01Overgrown lot to walkable ground
Palmetto, vines and brush mulched in place with the forestry head. The mulch layer stays, the lot is walkable the same day, and there is no pile.
02Trees and stumps on a build lot
The pines and oaks in the footprint come down, the stumps are ground or pulled, and the wood leaves on the grapple truck. Grading follows.
03Fence line and easement clearing
Brush along a fence or an easement mowed to the ground with the tractor, so the fence can be built or the line can be seen again.
04Acreage and pasture reclaim
Fields that have gone to brush and small trees, brought back to mowable pasture. Big work, one crew, one estimate.
05Debris removal after clearing
Somebody else cut it and left it. We load the piles with the grapple and haul them, or chip them into mulch on site.
06Selective clearing around keepers
The good oaks stay. Everything under and around them goes, and the mulcher stops short of the roots we are protecting.
How it goes
From walk-through to graded ground
Walk the lot with you
We mark what stays, what goes and where the property lines and any wet areas are. Gopher tortoise burrows get flagged; the FWC permit for those is yours to pull and we stop work inside 25 feet of a burrow until it is.
Check the permit picture
Brevard County and the cities each have their own clearing and tree rules. Our permit guide explains them; the permit itself is the owner's. We tell you which one applies.
Mulch or cut
Brush and small trees go through the forestry mulcher where they stand. Trees too big for the head are cut and sectioned.
Stumps and roots
Stumps are ground below grade or pulled with the loader when the lot is being graded for a slab.
Haul, mulch, grade
Wood leaves on the grapple truck or is chipped on site. The tractor grades the result. Nothing is burned.

When we get there
What you get when we leave
Walkable ground
Mulched lots can be walked the same day. Cut and hauled lots are raked clean.
The keepers untouched
Trees you marked to stay are worked around, roots included.
Graded and ready
Root holes filled and the ground graded, ready for the next trade.
The equipment
The machines that do the clearing

Forestry mulcher
- On the job
- Chews standing brush and small trees into a mulch layer where they stand.
- Why it matters
- No piles, no hauling, no bare sand. The ground is walkable the same day and the mulch holds it in place.

Giant mini loader
- On the job
- Carries wood and brush out through a side gate or across a lawn on tracks.
- Why it matters
- It fits where a truck cannot and spreads its weight, which is what keeps turf and pavers whole.

Grapple truck
- On the job
- Loads brush, root balls and trunk sections without anyone lifting by hand.
- Why it matters
- Hauling is part of the job, not an extra. A cleared lot is only cleared once the pile is gone.
Where we work
Land clearing from Mims to Palm Bay
North Brevard has the acreage: Titusville and Mims lots with pines, palmetto and long fence lines are where the mulcher earns its keep. South and beachside, it is more often a single lot to prep for a build. We will travel further in Florida for the right job. Call 321-504-1054 and ask.

Do I need a permit to clear land on my property?
Usually, once trees or more than a small area are involved. Brevard County and each city have their own rules, and some small-scale clearing is exempt. Our permit guide walks through them. The permit is the owner's to pull; we do not file it for you, but we will tell you what applies.
How much does land clearing cost in Florida?
It depends on what is growing, how dense it is, the size of the lot, whether trees and stumps are included, and whether the debris is mulched in place or hauled. Mulching costs less than cut-and-haul because nothing leaves the property. We price it after walking the lot.
What does it cost to clear an acre?
There is no honest per-acre number without seeing it. An acre of palmetto that mulches in a day and an acre with thirty pines to drop are not the same job. Send photos or ask for a walk-through and you will get a real figure.
What is the difference between land clearing and brush hogging?
Brush hogging mows brush and small growth to the ground with a tractor and leaves the roots and stumps. Land clearing takes it further: trees, stumps, roots where needed, and the debris gone or mulched, ready for grading or building.
Do you burn the debris?
No. Brush is mulched where it stands or chipped, and wood is hauled on the grapple truck. Nothing is burned on your lot.
What about gopher tortoises?
If there is a burrow, work stops within 25 feet of it until you have the FWC relocation permit. We flag burrows on the walk-through. The permit is yours to file, not ours.
Can you clear around trees I want to keep?
Yes. That is most of the work we do on lots with mature oaks. The mulcher takes the understory and stops short of the roots of the keepers.
Do you grade after clearing?
Yes. The tractor and the loader grade the cleared ground and the root holes so the lot is ready for the next trade.

Send an address and a few photos.
A parcel number and pictures from the road are enough to start. We walk the lot, then send an estimate.
