TR Lawn & Tree

Tree removal, Palm Bay

Tree removal in Palm Bay, FL

Palm Bay lots are narrow, fenced and close together, which is why so many removals here get quoted as too tight to do. We take trees down in sections from a 62ft lift and carry the wood out through the gate on a tracked loader.

Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Estimates are free and in writing before anything starts.

What are we looking at?

Six Palm Bay removals we get called for.

6 of them

  • Tree leaning heavily over a residential boundary fence
    01

    Leaning over the fence

A tree with its weight on the neighbor's side. Rigged and taken back over your own ground.

  • Tall pine standing beside a screened pool enclosure
    02

    Over the pool cage

Screen enclosures take a limb once. Sections come down on ropes, clear of the cage.

  • Tree growing in the narrow gap between two houses
    03

    In the side yard

Six feet between two houses and a tree in the middle. This is the one other crews pass on.

  • Sabal palm grown up against the soffit of a house
    04

    Palms against the house

Sabal palms planted close and now touching the soffit. Removed whole or in sections.

  • Leaning tree trunk with the root plate lifted out of the ground
    05

    Leaning since the last storm

Root plate lifted on one side. It did not fall, and that does not mean it is sound.

  • Brush and limbs stacked ready for loading at a curb
    06

    The pile it leaves

Wood and brush go on the grapple truck the same day rather than sitting at the curb.

Limb being lowered on a rigging rope beside a house

Most Palm Bay removals are not hard because the tree is big. They are hard because of what is six feet away from it.

Sectional takedowns, because there is nowhere to drop it.

  • 01

    The lot decides the method.

A tree in an open yard gets felled. On a Palm Bay quarter acre with a fence on both sides and a pool cage behind, every piece has to be controlled. That is the job most of the time here, and it is why the estimate starts with a walk rather than a tape measure.

  • 02

The lift reaches what a climber should not.

A 62ft boom lift puts the cutter at the limb from a stable platform. On dead wood, on palms, and on anything hanging over a roof, that is the difference between a controlled cut and a hope.

  • 03

Wood leaves through the gate, not across the lawn.

The tracked mini loader is sized for a standard side gate. Trunk sections come out through it rather than over the turf, and the grapple truck loads from the driveway.

  • 04

What is under the canopy sets the price.

Fence, cage, shed, septic, irrigation, the neighbor's roof. How much has to be roped rather than dropped is what moves the number, far more than the height of the tree.

  • 05

Permits are the city's call, not ours.

Some Brevard jurisdictions regulate removal by trunk size or species. Check with Palm Bay before scheduling. We will tell you what we have seen on similar lots, and we do not pull permits on an owner's behalf.

What a removal day looks like.

  • Walk the drop zone.

Where the house, cage, fence, lines and septic are, and which way the tree leans. That sets the rigging plan and the written price.

  • Strip the crown.

Limbs off from the top down, roped where they hang over anything, until the trunk is bare.

  • Section the trunk.

Cut into lengths the grapple can lift, from the lift or the ground depending on what is below.

  • Load, grind, leave it clean.

Wood on the truck, the stump ground if you want it gone, debris hauled or mulched. Nothing burned on site.

Our equipment

The three machines that keep this a one visit job instead of a rental.

Most crews rent when a job calls for more than a saw and quote accordingly. These three are ours and they come as standard.

  • TR 62ft Imer boom lift extended into a tree

    01

    62ft Imer boom lift

    On the job
Puts the cutter at the limb on trees too tall, too dead or too close to a structure to climb.
    Why it matters
The lift is what turns a tree nobody could reach into a scheduled job. Without one, the crown over your roof is climbed or it is not touched.
  • TR grapple truck loading limbs and debris

    02

    Grapple truck

    On the job
Lifts trunk sections and whole limbs off the lawn and into the bed. Hauls the same day.
    Why it matters
Trunk wood is measured in tons. The grapple moves it without a track across the yard and without a pile left at the curb.
  • TR giant mini loader moving material on a job site

    03

    Giant mini loader

    On the job
Carries sections and material through a standard side gate and across turf on tracks.
    Why it matters
Backyard work needs the wood out through the gate rather than a panel taken out of the fence.

The rest of the fleet comes to the same property under the same estimate. Every machine, with photos, is on the equipment page.

Tree removal questions from Palm Bay.

  • Access and obstacles move the price more than height does. The same pine costs one number in an open front yard and another between two houses with a cage behind it. Whether the stump and the haul away are included also changes it. The Brevard pricing guide walks through what moves the number, and every estimate is free and in writing.

  • No. The visit and the written estimate are free.

  • It is the normal Palm Bay job. The tracked loader is built to fit a standard side gate, so wood comes out through it rather than over the lawn or through a panel taken out of the fence.

  • A lot of our work comes in that way, including from other tree companies. Usually it means they do not own a lift. The estimate is still free if you have already had one.

  • That is most of what a Palm Bay removal is. Sections come down on ropes rather than being dropped, the lift puts the cutter above the roofline, and the plan is written into the estimate so you know what is going where.

  • If the tree is touching the line or the service drop, FPL clears that first and we do the rest. If it is close but clear, we work it from the far side. We will tell you which one you have before quoting.

  • It depends on the tree and the city. Some Brevard jurisdictions regulate removal above a trunk size or for certain species. Check with the city before scheduling. We do not pull permits for owners.

  • Wood leaves on the grapple truck or is processed into mulch. Nothing is burned on site. Stump grinding is a separate line on the estimate, so you can take it or leave it.

  • The grapple works from the driveway or the street where it can and the loader runs on tracks. Where a machine has to sit on turf we say so beforehand and repair what it marks.

We walk the drop zone, write the plan, and put the number in front of you before anything is cut. No charge for the visit.
