Large and hazardous tree removal
Large tree removal in Brevard County
The oak over the house, the pine leaning at the power drop, the tree too big for the crew that quoted it last week. We take trees down in sections with a 62ft boom lift and load them straight onto a grapple truck, so nothing swings over the roof and nothing sits on the lawn afterwards.
Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Estimates are free and in writing before anything is cut.

What are we looking at?
Six jobs most crews turn down.
6 of them
01Over the house
A canopy that reaches the roof comes down in pieces, each one roped or lifted, never dropped.
02Over a pool cage
Screen enclosures cannot take a limb. We work from the lift and lower every section clear of the cage.
03Near power lines
Trees against a service drop or under distribution lines. We tell you when FPL has to clear first and handle the rest.
04No room to fell it
Tight lots, fences on three sides, a neighbor's roof in the drop zone. The lift reaches over what a climber cannot.
05Dead or failing
A dead oak or pine is a different job from a live one: the wood is unpredictable, so more of it is cut small.
06Already down
If it has already fallen, that is a different page and usually a faster job.

We own the equipment most crews rent, and the companies that hire us for it include Boeing, Amazon and Lowe's.
The tree is taken down in pieces, and every piece has a plan before the saw starts.
- 01
Size is not the problem. What it is standing over is.
An eighty-foot pine in an open pasture can be felled in one cut. The same tree between a house and a pool cage cannot, and that is the job people mean when they say large tree removal. The estimate starts with what is under the canopy, not the trunk diameter.
- 02
The boom lift replaces the climb.
A 62ft lift puts the cutter where the limb is, from a stable platform, with both hands on the saw. On trees that cannot be climbed safely, or where the crown is over a structure, that is the difference between a controlled cut and a guess.
- 03
Nothing is dropped. Sections are lowered or lifted.
Limbs over a roof, a fence, a driveway or a neighbor's yard are rigged and lowered, or cut small enough to hand down. The wood that can free-fall does; the wood that cannot, does not.
- 04
The grapple truck loads the trunk where it lands.
Trunk sections from a large oak weigh more than a crew can move by hand. The grapple picks them off the lawn and loads the truck in one motion, so there is no dragging across the turf and no pile at the curb.
- 05
Other tree companies bring us in for these.
A lot of our large removals come through other crews who quoted the job, looked at the roof and called us. If yours did, the estimate is still free and still in writing.
What a sectional takedown looks like.
Walk the drop zone.
Where the house, cage, lines, fence, septic and driveway are, and which way the lean runs. That sets the rigging plan and the price.
Strip the crown first.
Limbs come off from the top down, roped where they hang over anything, so the trunk is bare before it is cut.
Section the trunk.
The trunk comes down in lengths the grapple can lift, cut from the lift or the ground depending on what is below.
Load, grind, leave it clean.
Wood leaves on the grapple truck, the stump is ground if you want it gone, and the debris is hauled or mulched. Nothing is burned on site.
Our equipment
The three machines that make a large removal a one-day job instead of a rental.
Most crews rent a lift when the tree calls for it and quote accordingly. These three are in our yard, and they come to every large removal as standard.

01
62ft Imer boom lift
- On the job
- Puts the cutter at the limb on trees too tall, too dead or too close to a structure to climb. Reaches over a cage or a roof from the driveway side.
- Why it matters
- The lift is what turns "we can't get to it" into a scheduled job. Without one, the crown over your house is climbed or it is not touched.
-

02
Grapple truck
- On the job
- Lifts trunk sections and whole limbs off the lawn and into the bed. Hauls the same day.
- Why it matters
- Large trunk wood is measured in tons. The grapple moves it without a skid steer track across the yard and without a curb pile.
-

03
Giant mini loader
- On the job
- Carries sections and brush through a standard side gate and across turf on tracks.
- Why it matters
- Backyard removals need the wood out through the gate. The loader does that without cutting a path through the fence or the sod.
Stump grinding and the tractor come to the same property under the same estimate. The full fleet, with photos, is on the equipment page.

-
In pieces. The crown is stripped from the top down, limbs over anything are roped and lowered, the trunk is cut into lengths a grapple truck can lift, and the wood leaves the same day. If you want the stump gone we grind it as part of the same visit.
-
Height matters less than what the tree is standing over. A big pine in an open yard is a routine job. The same pine over a roof, a cage, a fence line or a power drop is a large removal, because every piece has to be controlled rather than dropped.
-
That is most of what this page is about. The lift puts the cutter above the roof, sections are lowered on ropes rather than dropped, and the drop zone is walked before the first cut. We put the plan in the estimate so you know what is going where.
-
If the tree is in contact with the line or the service drop, FPL clears that first and we do the rest. If it is close but clear, we work it from the far side. We will tell you which situation you have before quoting.
-
More than a small one, and the size is not the main reason. Access, what is under the canopy, how much has to be rigged rather than dropped, and whether the stump is included move the number most. The pricing guide walks through it, and the estimate is written before any work starts.
-
No. Estimates are free and in writing.
-
It leaves on the grapple truck, or gets processed into mulch. We do not burn on site. If you want firewood lengths left, say so in the estimate and we will stack them.
-
The grapple works from the driveway or the street where it can, and the loader is tracked and sized for a side gate. Where a truck has to sit on turf, we tell you beforehand and repair what it marks.
-
It depends on the city and the tree. Some Brevard jurisdictions regulate removal above a certain trunk size or for certain species. Check with your city before scheduling, and we will tell you what we have seen on similar lots. We do not pull permits on the owner's behalf.
